Because of the increased profile width and five-chamber construction of the casement and sash profiles, the window profile “KBE Expert” exhibits the enhanced heat-insulating properties conforming to the last European standards of energy saving.
However, a major part of the window heat losses falls on the multiple glass panes and not on the profiles. The system “KBE Expert” allows to install the wider and warmer multiple glass panes with thickness of up to 42 mm (up to 58 mm with the use of rabbet spreader!).
In addition to the excellent heat-insulating and power-saving characteristics and owing to a possibility to mount the wider multiple glass panes and high tightness of closing sash, the windows made of the profile “KBE Expert” exhibit improved soundproof features.
An additional advantage of the “KBE Expert” system is an easy installation of the antirobbery furniture. For this purpose, the creators of KBE provided for in the profile a special engineering solution (removal of the furniture groove of 13 mm).
Of prime importance is the fact that the height of the wide profile “KBE Expert” is absolutely identical to that of the narrow profile, i.e. windows made of the wide profile will seem light and ethereal, giving free scope to designers’ imagination.
Like other KBE profiles, “Expert” is produced using the high greenline technology according to which the lead stabilizers traditionally applied in production of the PVC profile were substituted for the environmentally unexceptionable stabilizers based on calcium and zinc. Moreover, the surface of profiles based on the greenline formula is characterized by pleasant eggshell gloss and more tolerant of the negative climatic impacts than the others. In accordance with the test results, the KBE profiles withstand temperatures from -60oÑ to +75oÑ. The tests showed that the KBE greenline profiles do not change their characteristics over a period of more than 40 years of operation.
